Parent and Student Counseling

We understand that the apt provision of support and the skills to children to successfully overcome the various challenges they face during childhood and adolescence, is indispensable, Towards this end, elementary, middle, high school and senior secondary counselors will provide short-Term personal and academic counseling to support students in addressing the issues That are likely to impact their emotional and social wellbeing.

Counselors regularly work with parents, teachers, school administrators and outside professionals To optimally address student issues.

The school conducts various Parents — Teacher Orientation Workshops. Well—known experienced educationists have graced these occasions and these workshops help the teachers in improving their teaching techniques and parents in establishing more free and friendly relations with their wards.

Co-curricular Activities

S.R. International School aims to provide an extended learning atmo— sphere that goes beyond the four walls of the classrooms. Multifarious activities like drama, debate, speeches, craft work, Rangoli, calligraphy, and quiz competitions are prepared regularly to engage and develop the young eager minds of the students. All the co—curricular activities form an integral part of the school system right from the entry level.

Extra Curricular Activities

Physical and mental fitness being our top priority, our co-curricular activi- ties encourage students to participate in activities like Skating, Yoga, Gymnastics and Tae—Kwando. Special morning assembly

Morning assemblies are conducted which include news headlines, moral Thoughts and new vocabulary words. All these help a child to learn new things every day. Each student gets a chance to speak in the school assembly which enhances his oratory skills.

Healthy eating habits

Children follow a balanced diet throughout the week and they are also taught dining etiauettes. Every Saturday is a special Saturday where each child brings cutlery and enjoy lunch with teachers and peers with proper dining table etiquettes.

Infirmary

Our top priority is the mental & physical fitness of each child. To ensure this, we provide on campus medical care with an infirmary having all facilities & an attendant. Awareness is created about health and hygiene by inviting several renowned doctors and conducting workshops not only for the learners but also for their parents. Parenting, child psychology, adolescence are the main issues discussed.

Student Exchange Programmes

Student Exchange Programmes will be promoted wherein the children would visit a foreign country To learn, among other things, language and culture, which would enable them to be part of a highly competitive nuclear age we are living in today and can no longer afford the luxury of mediocrity if we are to forge ahead.

Field work and Camps

Field work and Camps help children become more conscious of their environment. A child would not know how to use iron until he learns to make stone hammer by watching an elephant’s feet crushing everything beneath them.
